Yeah man. KICK ASS!!! My only complaint would be that half of the base almost seems wasted, with all the action on the one side. As for the technical side of things (construction, painting, etc.) everything is top notch.
+1 karma from me, too.

C'mon, that's harsh! It's all going down on the leaf side of the NERV logo... that is a wicked idea! Who cares about balance when there is an underlying reason for how it is laid out? This is the best EVA modeling I have ever seen. It is very symbolic, as is the nature of the show.

Amazing.

Beautimus man. Amazing. This should be a mass produced pre painted statue. I would so dish out the cash for something like that.

The end result is (as everyone's indicating) amazing. The vibrant colors really bring EVA 01 to life. And the attention to detail (like the markings on the EVA-02) give the whole thing a sense of polish and completeness that is so often lacking from resin kits like this.

Very nice work there Joa. So much to learn from the in-progs and the final piece looks great. Nice to see that you didn't redden the other letters. People really tend to forget about "white space" and how it balances out a design.

There's So much going on in that kit !
Every singly little detail , Decals , Fire , Flames , Lava pool , Wings !
And not to mention one kick ass "NERV" Base , W00t man .. This is the best Resin mecha kit i've seen up to date.
Not because i am hard core Evangelion fan , But also because i love your techniques especially when it cam to creating flames and fire .

I Guess your one the guys that wont believe in the word " Impossible "  :pirate2:

Bravo !
Best of luck
Thanks

Thanks, all!!!
Being a complete N00b @ mech modeling + posting at this immensely creative forum and receiving over all positive comments about what I've managed to do is very rewarding.
I believe fredpekker's comment and FichtenFoo's dito quite balance each other out.
It's quite hard to do this presentation justice through the quite limited photographic setup I've got, but IRL it doesn't seem as off balanced as it might occur in these snap shots.

FichtenFoo's dito

I took that as "ditto" which means to copy/agree. Maybe that was a typo?  No biggie... just trying to figure it out. Cool looking piece none the less!

Lol .. no, I was pointing to *comment* (as in Fed's comment vs your comment)  .. sorry, the language barrier evidently tripped me ;)
Either way, glad you like it =)

Here are a few more shots, starting with a better over view of the piece:

Clickable Thumbs:

And, here's the surprise.
Remember I painted the fire using fluorescent paint?
Well, I just had to have a peak at what would happen should I add black light.
No editing has been done in these pics, save the re-sizing:

Pretty cool, eh? =)
